I opened the grocery bags tonight to find that the bagger had placed a watermelon on top of a container of strawberries! Amazingly, the berries were unscathed.
Thought of this today when I was packing my groceries at the store. This is the reason I pack my own and run off any of the baggers that try to come help :)
Who does that? People at Kroger! I have written so many mental letters to their managers... I try really hard to make sure I get all the heavy stuff out of the cart first, so they bag it first. Doesn't always work out. And wow, those are some tough berries! That, or I have serious doubts as to the recycle-ability of their container! :)
